MAGA pontificator Steve Bannon claimed that it's time to ignore claims of "authoritarianism" and start locking up government officials who are stoking "civil unrest" in the United States, according to an article in The Spectator.

Bannon told editor Freddy Gray that the left was "calling for [unrest] nationwide," and that "we’re in for another of summer of riots."

“We need to start arresting government officials, including the Mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, who’s stirring this pot up," Bannon said, even if it means suspending habeas corpus.

'Start arresting!' Bannon calls for locking up officials 'stirring the pot'

I saw an interview with Bannon where he said if the judges continue to reject Trump's orders on deportations, then habeas corpus must be suspended or abolished. Scary stuff.

Further down in the article above, Bannon talks about breaking up the tech companies: Google, Facebook, Amazon, Walmart for too much concentration of private power.

Gotta agree with him there but I'm not sure Donald will!

Bannon sets his sight on the tech bros:

Semafor reported Monday that "War Room" podcast host Steve Bannon – who was White House chief strategist in the first Trump administration – is now setting his sights on venture capitalist and second Trump administration AI czar David Sacks (who is close to Musk and co-hosts the popular "All In" podcast).

"You’re dangerous," Bannon said of Sacks and his co-hosts. "It’s all about you, not the country."

While the White House defended Sacks himself, an unnamed source told Semafor that the administration was indeed having ongoing conversations "regarding the future of some of these big names that came to the federal government in that wave of Elon [Musk] coming here."

The heat is on as Bannon proposes nationalising SpaceX

[Musk] made 100 to 150 billion dollars in net worth on government contracts,” Bannon said. “Why do we not have warrants or options, huge packages for the American taxpayer, as part of that?”

“Bannon is such a r-----ed liar. Dumber than a doorstop,” Musk posted on his X account. “SpaceX revenue this year will be $15.5B and NASA is only worth $1.1B."

“If Bannon’s dumb ... reasoning made any sense, then anyone who bought products from any company would automatically own that company,” Musk added. “Bannon is truly peak r----d.”
