Travelling to Thailand- you need these 3 Apps
Stocky replied to CharlieH's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
Hardly, by the time you add the extras it's usually about the same as simply book Thai Airways - all inclusive but no faffing around As for apps, as suggested above you need little more than Goggle Maps -
Huh? Remote parking why didn't they just bus you to the main terminal. Arriving at the new satellite terminal I've never taken a bus to take the train! It's sometimes a long walk from the airbridge to the escalators down to the train but all my recent Qatar flights and some Thai Airways flights using the satellite have parked at airbridge.

Thai Spouse Extension - Changes.

Encountered the same changes to the forms last month when I submitted my application. But thankfully Songkhla immigration (Hat Yai) supplied a witness, so no drama. -

Poor sods they almost got to the Malaysian border. Now they'll get sent home, no refund from the people smugglers, and if the money was borrowed they'll still need to pay it back - but now without that job in Malaysia.

Does the fool seriously believe this will end Israel's problems, have the last 77 year not taught him anything?! -
Came in on Saturday from Vientiane, Thai Airways, they showed a sort video explaining TDAC - I expect other airlines will start showing the immigration video too. I had a connecting flight to Hat Yai so went through immigration at the transfer area, no queue.

The whole idea of working remotely and online is that it doesn't matter where you are; you can work in Cambodia, Laos or wherever whilst waiting for your visa. If you can't manage that and 'run out of money' you probably should have stayed at home. Seems the Thai delaying tactic helps winnow the chaff from the grain.

Recent trip to UK with Qatar air- A very sad, heartbreaking visit.
Stocky replied to Scouse123's topic in General Topics
Not at Birmingham, I usually find we're the only ones in the queue as we were this trip, even on a flight from Doha - most passengers use the UK Channel e-Gate -
Only 21 years but I have similar recollections of 'another nail' or 'the final nail' in the coffin of tourism in Thailand - the coffin's more nails than a hardware shop and still going

Going through Birmingham immigration this April I went through the non-UK Channel with my wife and granddaughter - no issue. Probably half the immigration and customs officers at Birmingham are of mixed heritage, that reflects the city, and they all speak impeccable Brummie - warms the cockles of my heart to hear it. -

I'm sorry but I don't recognise that. I drove the M5 from Birmingham to Bristol and over the Severn Bridge into Wales in April this year. No potholes or broken motorway. The M4 to Cardiff was pothole free too, though plenty of annoying variable speed restrictions and cameras to catch the unwary. Driving back through Usk, Monmouth, Ledbury, Malvern, Worcester and Kidderminster the roads were fine with the exception of a road closure near Ledbury that sent us down Tewkesbury and back up to Malvern.
