My wife (Thai) & I are very happy when we are at our Thai home. But we no longer live there full time. The other spot in the world where we live is up on a mountain with beauty all around, clean air, water no traffic etc. Like heaven but of course boring at times. Our Thailand home on the other hand is exciting often as there are places to go & we think it is way more vibrant etc. We often consider moving back full time but..... Thailand in all its glory has a lot of TIT & things like terrible air many months of the year etc. But we visit 3 & sometimes 6 months a year to our Thai home & yes very happy there...but we are also happy here at our other location

Rain season started so early this year. Makes one wonder what it will be like in Aug/Sept Also wonder if flooding is going to be a yearly deal now...hope not

Oh that would be better than the reality I have seen I have been given little notes on their scrap paper from Imm When I turned the paper over it had a Japanese nationals name, info & passport number Hopefully they no longer use all the old forms with personal info as their scrap paper but I would not expect they actually take the time to shred sensitive identity info

As others have said of course there is no 10 year "tourist" unless they choose to make this some kind of crazy 10 yr multi entry Tourist Visa Instead they would do well to just copy the USA on these types of visa's. First issue a 2 year Temporary residence visa. Then if all goes well the third year issue a 10 year & call it a permanent residence visa. This would make life a lot easier for many long term expats & may also entice many new ones too.

Yes got one many years ago around 2012. Chiang Mai was a simple matter of a few forms then certificate was sent. Which I used for a few years to claim back taxes withheld on savings & they always sent a check no probs

Lots of folks say this or that about silver & gold here are the realities....Posted in images below Both are good IMHO & I have been involved with both for a long time. Back around 2011 I did exceptionally well with the G/S ratio . At the time I was swapping a truckload of silver I bought at $9/oz when G/S ratio was 75/1 & was swapping into gold at 35-40/1 It was like buying $1500 gold ounces for $315 So aside from buying to sit & wait...also watch the G/S ratio & use that to grow your stacks. The old rule of thumb use to be G/S ratio above 55/1 buy silver below buy gold Of course in recent year that has changed....a lot! But I would say personally Silver is very under valued or manipulated at the moment. That won't last & silver will likely take off this fall. This is just my opinion & worth exactly what you paid for it 😉

When you look at Thailand's coffee scene & see how far they came & how quickly. They are now as good as or better than many spots in the world once known as coffee cafe/culture. I imagine if given free reign with craft beer they would do the same. I am not often a drinker but when in the US I will enjoy a Russian Imperial Stout from time to time. If they had them here I would also be tempted 😉
