    Hahaha, another I am fairly well off and plan to give all my money to the Thai government, and rip off medical plans. Personally I hope all you guys stay in Thailand, and leave the really nice retirement destinations to us savvy retirees.. Thailand is a S$it hole for retiree's period.. Internet has kept it alive and I hope for my sake for a few more years.

    Thailand used to be a pretty nice place. The government put an end to that. Had fun there when I was in my 50's and mid 60's. Haven't been back in several years now.

    Lived down there for a while, they come across to Thailand to sew their oats. Then go back to Malaysia to be good Muslems. Been going on for umpteen years. Hooker heaven , they come across hooker up then go back and pretend they are saints... hahaha Some of the most beautiful Thai hookers I have ever seen. From Hat Yai all the way to the border in Kolok. Stunning.

    And again the media blitz on quality tourists is paying off. Drunken brawler in the streets, stabbings. About time for a taxi driver to return several million baht left in his cab by a tourist.

    900K/mo. before. At that rate all the Chinese (that have the funds) have seen Thailand several times. Probably looking for a different adventure.

    We need a poll to try and name the new disease poor Taksin was afflicted with? I am 72 and had covid twice, that was while I was traveling in Thailand. Doctors in Thailand sent me back to the hotel with a few pills and I was fine.
