  1. Considering they constitute 20% of the world's population, and are a short flight or high-speed rail trip away, that's a lotta eggs and a very small basket.
  2. What visas? China and Thailand have announced a historic travel accord with a permanent "visa-free" arrangement to bolster post-pandemic tourism. Jan 29, 2024 Chinese are getting better travel deals in Japan and Souf' Korea. Added bonus - no kidnappings!
  3. Ah, but these are Thai immigrants that may not have garbage disposals installed. In that case.......well, you ARE in the kitchen!
  4. You would wager correct. Replace the current shut off valve with either a double valve, or one with two outlets. Then attack a standard flexible hose and spray nozzle as found on most kitchen sinks.
  5. Silly fellow. There's a rocker switch on the wall behind the sink for the garbage disposal installed in the sink drain. You're good to go unless you suffer from Pica disorder.
  6. If that's what Hunter's been sniffin',.......'splains a lot!
  7. These perhaps?
  8. Why the "scare quotes"? These particular foreigners are illegally in the US. But would you change your mind if you were to learn only the allied foreigners who celebrate Ramadan will be sent?
  9. Hi, I’m Steve Kirsch. I used to be a high tech serial entrepreneur before retiring at age 64. Oh, c'mon, man! He's not even a chiropracter!!!!!!
  10. In that case it is NOT a mortgage and will not be recorded on the chanote. Only what is necessary. I do not report non-assessable remittances, but can do so if ever required.
  11. The money sent thru Wise is your money until it reaches the receiver's account. You are remitting money to Thailand. The gifting happens when the receiver receives the funds. If your Thai friend has an offshore account, transfer there, let them remit their gift to Thailand.
  12. In that case it's not a gift. Assume you(r wife) owns the land.
  13. A gift from abroad, or domestic transfer, a gift is a gift. Technically, it COULD be taxable............for you. The funds sent through Wise are technically in your name until deposited in the receiver's bank account. Depends on whether the funds are considered assessable, and what particular set of constantly changing rules you bring them in under. For the receiver, it's a tax-free gift. Gift tax rates in Thailand are structured to favor transfers to direct relatives. For gifts to ascendants, descendants, or spouses, the tax-free threshold is 20 million baht per year to a single recipient, with a tax rate of 5% applied to amounts exceeding this threshold. For gifts to individuals who are not the taxpayer’s parent, descendant, or spouse, the exemption is up to 10 million baht per year per recipient, with a 5% tax rate on the excess. ***FOR ENTERTAINMENT ONLY, DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY***
  14. Where's the "hub"? "There was supposed to be an Earth-shattering hub-boom!"
