  1. May want to do some research on the defamation laws in Thailand and reconsider your post.
  2. I know a guy who was stopped here recently on a bike in the late afternoon, given a breath test which showed he had been drinking. His offer to settle it onsite was quickly refused and he was sent off to Soi 9 police station. Seems it was all done by the books. With all the bashing of Thai cops and road safety on here, I say good for them. Gotta give them credit when due.
  3. Hello OP, I've been buying the ribeye steaks from my nearby lotus go-fresh. I think about 180THB. I wouldn't serve them to dinner guests but for my breakfast they are a great value. Says they come from Aus. Perfect for steak sandwiches and burritos and such. Now get ready for 2 pages of "THAT'S NOT A RIBEYE!" hahaha. Idiot parade on this forum. Enjoy!
  4. Meanwhile the TAT is like, "Let's get a hundred million MORE Chinese into the country! Look how great we're doing!"
  5. We need to start calling it Artificial unintelligence. It's almost unreadable.
  6. My wife and I were NOT married when we had our son via IVF at Nawabutr.
  7. Hi There, My wife had an ectopic pregnancy and had both fallopian tubes removed. We used Nawabutr clinic in Bangkok and I could not give them a higher recommendation. Their service was exceptional. We were treated like family. We now have a 12 year old son and we owe our thanks to this clinic. I recall the total cost being around 350k THB but it is different depending on what needs to be done, and that was 13 years ago. nawabutr.com Good luck to your friend.
  8. Don't lose hope brother. And don't expect the Thai government to follow through on 90% of what it says.
  9. Why did I spend so much money at Bumurngrad on a licensed ENT doctor and 3 sinus surgeries when I could have just come to 'Asean Now' for all the super professional medical advice?? You guys are seriously awesome! Thanks Doctor Celsius!!
  10. Wow, Thanks Doctor Prang! I was just born yesterday so obviously don't know anything about anything.
  11. But I still can't buy Pseudoephedrine for my stuffy nose.
  12. I have TOT on the north side of Pattaya and have had the same issues.
  13. Embryos of all creatures look similar at first
  14. I believe this is known as 'Natural Selection'.
  15. Personally I avoid the big name hospital(s) in Pattaya. I suggest checking out Samitivej in Siricha.
  16. Why is it only "Tourists"? What about locals? Different parking rules?
  17. Squirt gun full of vinegar. Shoot them right in the face. Harmless but they HATE it.
  18. If doing bike stunts on public roads in Pattaya is illegal, isn't it against forum rules to discuss it here?
  19. We recently stayed at Bella Villa Cabana in Pattaya and they are pet friendly.
  20. I buy mine here: shopfirework.com Lazada has plenty too. Think I'll blast a few extra tonight in Jomtien since it seems to be so popular. Cheers
  21. I always laugh when I see expats move to Thailand then complain that it isn't like their home country. There are planes leaving everyday, don't like it here? Get on one.
  22. North Sukumvit has many auto shops. I've found this place to be top notch for batteries. It's opposite the Cholchan Hotel. 12.985838077046838, 100.92242276019981 It is a Thai place, pretty dirty, but there is lots of parking, they speak good English, have a great selection, good prices and good service. You may get that "hole in the wall" feeling, but you're just buying a battery, not renting an apartment for your mom. This is Thailand by the way, if you want all the comforts of your home country I kindly suggest you just move back there. Meanwhile, since you're here, you may as well get used to it and then you may find the benefits of living here. I mean, your message could read, "I'd like to buy a battery but I'd also like to pay extra to help the shop keeper with is rent and air con bills" This shop changed my alternator and countless batteries. They have way more knowledge and experience than the new hires at those chain stores. And they get the job done FAST. I recommend Panasonic batteries, they seem to be the highest quality. Also, look at the cold cranking amps, (not the battery weight lol). Try to get the higher cranking amps if it's an option. Vroom Vroom.
  23. Just arrived eh?
