    I suspect a person looking at a deportation, detention plus a 20 k fine and 5 year blacklist could pay more. Why are you being obtuse, a thousand baht to a hotel worker is what might be needed?

    Well an employee would not see the benefit of that....! The police make use of a lot of informers, and I doubt they do it for free. It could be worth 20,000 baht.

    Some are not keen to pay for a taxi and choose to walk back to their hotel.

    Many hotels are quite keen to see your passport, and it would not take much effort to check if a guest is on overstay. I have often suspected there would be a few baht in it for the hotel staff to report such a guest.

    Yet again on TV yesterday I was reminded that on the Railway Line road, traffic crossing the railway has right of way. As a frequent user, I know in reality it varies junction to junction, with some sort of acceptance of right of way to one direction or the other.

    Yes, let us focus on the fact that these are the drugs that cause crime and violence, not a puff on a bit of weed.

    Well police feet on the ground could do that too, and intervene in situations better than a drone. But yes, it all contributes.

    Doubt they can just get them straight onto a plane, so a spell in some detention centre likely and deserved.

    Well I suppose drones could inspect buildings to get warning of chunks likely to fall off.

    I was thinking that only yesterday, a lot of accidents involving cranes, also minibuses, coaches and helicopters.
